PSA GRADING SUBMISSION AGREEMENT
By submitting trading cards or other eligible collectibles ("Items") through Deez Cards Sports Cards & Memorabilia ("Deez Cards"), the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Submission Services
Deez Cards acts as a third-party submission facilitator for Professional Sports Authenticator ("PSA"). Customers may select from the Value, Standard, or Priority grading services offered by Deez Cards. The selected service and associated charges will be identified on the customer's receipt or invoice.
All submissions are subject to PSA's eligibility requirements, grading standards, submission procedures, service restrictions, and applicable terms and conditions. Deez Cards does not control PSA's grading decisions, service availability, or processing schedules.
2. Grading Results and Turnaround Times
All grading decisions are made exclusively by PSA. Deez Cards makes no representation or guarantee regarding the numerical grade, authenticity determination, certification outcome, or future market value of any submitted Item.
PSA may decline to grade an Item, determine that it is altered or inauthentic, or return it without a numerical grade.
Any turnaround times provided are estimates only, not guaranteed completion or return dates. Delays may occur due to PSA processing, transportation, holidays, service interruptions, or other circumstances outside Deez Cards' reasonable control.
3. PSA Upcharges and Additional Fees
The customer acknowledges that PSA may assess additional grading charges, commonly referred to as "upcharges," when PSA determines that an Item's fair market value exceeds the maximum permitted value of its selected service level or when other applicable PSA fees arise.
The customer is responsible for additional charges actually assessed by PSA in connection with the submission, including applicable service-level adjustments and other disclosed fees. Deez Cards will notify the customer of documented additional charges and provide an explanation of the amount due.
Any outstanding submission-related charges must be paid before the Items are released to the customer, subject to applicable law.
4. Card Preparation and Handling
Card preparation services, when requested or authorized, may include removal from existing sleeves or holders, placement into approved submission materials, labeling, and packaging.
Preparation fees are determined by the services required and will be disclosed separately.
Preparation does not guarantee a particular PSA grade or prevent PSA from rejecting an Item.
The customer acknowledges that handling, packaging, and transportation of collectible cards involve inherent risks. Deez Cards will exercise reasonable care in performing its services and will remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law for damage or loss caused by its negligence or other legally actionable conduct.
5. Condition, Authenticity, and Declared Value
The customer is responsible for reviewing the Items being submitted, providing accurate identifying information, and disclosing known alterations, restoration, authenticity concerns, or preexisting damage.
The customer represents that they own the submitted Items or have authorization from the lawful owner to submit them.
The customer is responsible for providing a reasonable estimate of each Item's value for grading and applicable shipping or insurance purposes. The selected grading service may affect the maximum insured value available under PSA's terms.
6. Shipping, Insurance, and Risk of Loss
Deez Cards will use reasonable care in preparing, handling, packaging, and arranging transportation of Items submitted through its grading service.
The customer acknowledges that shipping and third-party grading involve risks of loss, theft, damage, or delay.
Any insurance coverage or compensation for lost or damaged Items is subject to the applicable carrier, insurer, or PSA terms and coverage limits.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from Deez Cards' own negligence where applicable.
7. Payment, Cancellation, and Refunds
Payment for the selected grading service and any agreed preparation charges is due at the time of submission unless Deez Cards expressly agrees otherwise.
Because grading services involve third-party processing, cancellation or refund requests may be restricted once Items have been prepared, shipped, received, or processed by PSA.
If a submission is rejected, canceled, or returned ungraded, refunds, if any, will be evaluated based on the services performed, charges incurred, PSA's applicable terms, and governing law.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable customer rights.
8. Return Notification and Customer Pickup
Deez Cards will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer when submitted Items have been returned from PSA and are available for pickup.
Notification may be delivered using the telephone number, email address, or other contact information provided by the customer.
The 120-day pickup period begins on the date Deez Cards sends notice that the Items are available for pickup. It does not begin on the original submission date or the date PSA completes grading.
The customer is responsible for maintaining current contact information and arranging pickup within the stated period.
9. Unclaimed Items — 120-Day Policy
Customers are expected to collect their Items within 120 calendar days after Deez Cards sends the pickup notification.
If Items remain unclaimed after this period, Deez Cards may initiate its applicable unclaimed-property procedures, including issuing additional notices and taking such further action as permitted by New York law.
Items do not automatically become the property of Deez Cards merely because 120 days have elapsed. Any proposed sale, disposal, transfer, or other disposition of unclaimed Items will be subject to applicable legal requirements, including any required notice or opportunity to reclaim the Items.
Any outstanding lawful charges or storage fees must be properly disclosed and assessed in accordance with applicable law.
10. Customer Records and Submission Identification
Deez Cards may maintain records of submitted Items, including customer contact information, submission dates, Item descriptions, selected grading tiers, card quantities, preparation status, PSA submission references, payments, and return or pickup notifications.
These records may be used to administer the submission, communicate with the customer, verify ownership, resolve discrepancies, and document release of the Items.
11. Customer Acknowledgment
By authorizing the submission and completing payment, the customer acknowledges receipt of these terms and agrees to the selected grading services and applicable charges.
The customer further acknowledges that PSA grading outcomes are not guaranteed, additional PSA-assessed charges may arise, and the customer is responsible for arranging pickup following notification.
Any customer signature or separately recorded acknowledgment will serve as additional documentation of acceptance.
12. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without limiting any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
